Schlosshotel Rühstädt

Location
The lovely restored and wellness orientated castle is situated in the Prignitz region, only 8 kilometers from the spa city Bad Wilsnack with its famous Brine-Thermal Bath. The symbol of Prignitz is the stork, giving Rühstädt its second name: The paradise of storks. The castle is situated only 500 meters from the river Elbe, directly on the southern border of the Elbe Cycle Route, midst the UNESCO biosphere reserve of the river landscape Elbe-Brandenburg.

Accommodation
The castle hotel offers 14 spacious and individually furnished rooms with shower/bath tub, WC, hair dryer, LED-TV, telephone, radio alarm clock, and WLAN. Each of them are non-smoking rooms. The romantic rooms with park view are also furnished with a canopy. 

Food and Beverage
Start your day with a great and healthy breakfast presented with regional and fresh products. In the common room you will find a small filled fridge and a coffee maker you can use. You can get drinks, like coffee or tea and pastries and fruit. In close proximity you will find 3 restaurants, more in the immediate surroundings.

Activities and Wellness
After an adventurous day you can relax in die spa area with sauna, solarium and relaxation area. You can also choose one of many treatments, for example ayurveda treatments, oil baths or massages. (Pre-reservation necessary) After that you are welcome to linger or read several great books in the small library.
You can choose from various activities in the surroundings. For example, visit the Brine-Thermal Bath of Wilsnack, the cities Perleberg and Wittstock or just discover the landscape of river Elbe by bike. Or get to know history of the 30 years´ war in the museum in Wittstock.
Because of its direct position to the Elbe Cycle Route, the castle of Rühstädt is the perfect starting point for bike trips or easy walks through unspoiled nature.
