The Kavaliershaus Schloss Blücher - Hotel am Finckener See - formerly part of the castle complex of the Count von Blücher family - is located in a paradisiacal castle park with natural monuments in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The lovingly restored, historic manor house from the 18th century has 12 modern rooms/suites. The hotel's own bathing beach with jetty is 100 m away through the large hotel park, which also has a hundred-year-old climbing tree and a fire pit. There is a small wellness area with sauna, a children's playhouse, a playground with sandpit, table tennis, a barn with an open fireplace and a terrace in front for banquets and events. Bicycle rental, parking and WLAN are free of charge, a rowing boat can be rented and fishing licenses can be purchased at the reception. In the nearby castle chapel, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival organizes an annual concert in the "Young Elite" series. It can also be used for church weddings by arrangement with the hotel and the mayor.

Location
The Kavaliershaus Schloss Blücher - Hotel is located directly on the Finckener See. It is 90 minutes by car from Berlin, 60 from Rostock and 120 from Hamburg. The nearest airport is in Rostock/Lage, the nearest train stations are in Meyenburg, Waren and Wittstock. You can reach the hotel by car in 5 minutes west of the A-19/Röbel-Plau exit. There are many cycling and hiking trails in the surrounding area and the Müritz bear sanctuary near Stuer is particularly suitable for families. Golf enthusiasts can reach the Fleesensee Golf Club in 20 minutes.

Rooms
The listed Kavaliershaus is home to 12 individually designed suites and rooms for 2 to 6 people (25-120 m²), some with sleeping galleries and kitchenettes (room category type C). All suites/rooms are modernly furnished and have a private bathroom with a hairdryer and bathrobe, a garden and/or park view, LCD satellite TV, WLAN and a telephone on request.

Gastronomy
A rich breakfast buffet with fresh country products is offered daily from 8-11:00 am. Lunch (Thu-Sun) is served à la carte from 12 to 14:30. In the afternoon (Thu-Thu) you can enjoy homemade cakes with tea or coffee. In the evening (Thu-Thu) from 6 to 8:30 pm, a daily changing 3-course menu is served. In the wine cellar in the vault of the Kavaliershaus you can end the evening in a cozy atmosphere with your friends.

You can hire bikes free of charge on site. The hotel's own rowing boat is available for you at Finckener See (for a fee). If you like, you can also purchase a fishing license at reception.
