Hotel Schloss Gamehl

Schloss Gamehl was built in 1860 in neo-gothic style and is head office of Family Stralendorff. It’s characterized by its playful brick ornaments and arched windows. Also the stucco and parquet in the inside have been preserved during the recent restoration. Schloss Gamehl is once again in possession of the original family and functions as hotel since 2008.

Location
Schloss Gamehl is situated right outside the gates of Wismar and not far away from the Baltic Coast, Insel Poel, or the seaside resorts Heiligendamm and Kühlungsborn.

Accommodation
This castle consists of 19 restored and fully equipped rooms and suites. Each is characterized by its individual design, which creates a special comfort.

The castle kitchen only handles fresh products and pampers its guests with culinary delights in the gourmet restaurant. It also attaches importance to regional and traditional preparation methods, refined with Mediterranean influence.
