Location
The manor house is situated in the heart of the Danish Wohld, only 20 minutes by car away from Kiel and Eckernförde, with a varied landscape characterized by hills, valleys, cliffs, beaches and long oak forests.

Accommodation
Herrenhaus Borghorst offers five exclusive rooms and three suites, which are individually furnished with high quality antiques. Reside in generous rooms with a spacious bathroom, sofa and desk. All rooms are equipped with bath tub or shower, WC, hair dryer, TV, safe, mini-bar, radio and internet access. The junior suite and park suite are additionally equipped with a kitchenette. The suite with park view consists of two bedrooms, one living room and a fully equipped kitchen and provides sufficient space for four people.

Food and Beverage
Far away from all the “hustle and bustle” a great breakfast is waiting for you every morning in the garden hall. A lot of restaurants, offering local and international cuisine, can be reached in the surroundings in a few minutes. The perfect way to end your day is in the Afrikaraum or on the terrace with a cool drink from the Honestbar.

Activities and Wellness
Discover nature while taking a walk through the park or let your spirits fly while simply enjoying a good book on the terrace.  You can also relax visiting the bio sauna. The hilly landscape of the Danish Wohlds is perfect for long bike tours or walks through grasslands, fields and woodlands or also along the Kiel Canal. Bikes can be rented for free at the accommodation. Beaches of the Baltic Sea and Eckernförde Bay can be reached in a few minutes. Enjoy secluded sandy beaches surrounded by nature reserves or choose an active beach life with numerous sport activities and refreshments at the beach bar. Have a walk through the city of Eckernförde or Kiel. Get to know history and culture on the Ox Road and in Schloss Gottorf. Take a boat trip or immerse in the irresistible buzz of Kiel Week.
